MASH was a TV show that was the first of its kind. No one had tried making a TV comedy that regularly dived into such serious topics as death, war, sacrifice, and disabilities. Set during the Korean War, MASH follows the lives of surgeons assigned to an army hospital near the front line.
Alan Alda played Hawkeye Pierce, a brilliant surgeon drafted into the army at the onset of the war. He does everything he can to either make his life in a war zone tolerable or get sent home. A regular cast of memorable characters had misadventures on this show for a decade, regularly making audiences alternate between laughter and tears.
If you have ever watched the show, you may know enough to master these MASH trivia questions and answers. If you know why Klinger was always wearing a dress, how Margaret Houlahan got the nickname “Hot Lips”, or the names of any of the show’s three spin-offs, you can probably master the game.
Pull up a chair, pour a drink, and deal the cards to challenge your friends to MASH trivia. But remember, you’ll have to stop if Radar hears choppers. Keep the game going with our trivia games about Gilligan’s Island, The Office, and some TV knowledge.
